Please follow these rules when submitting your videos.
*All rules subject to change at any time!*
Main Rules
1. Both TV show and movie videos are accepted.
2. We accept up to 25 submissions per round. If it goes over that, we may allow it or move your submission(s) to the next round.
3. Make sure you put the right code word in.
4. If you have your own website, please provide a link to this website. You may pick up a link button on the links page. If you have trouble putting a link button on your site, you may provide a text link then.
5. After the 10th round, we will judge a "Best of the Best Round" where all the winners (no runner-ups) from the first ten rounds will be judged. This will most likely be just for video submissions.
6. I reserve the right to change or add to these rules at any time.
7. You must submit only your own videos. State all names if more than one person contributed to the video or website.
8. If the url of the video or website changes, then use the submission email address on the submit page to let me know.
9. Acceptable formats for videos include any formats that can be played on Windows Media Player, Quicktime Player, Real Player or iTunes. These formats are most commonly .wmv and .avi as well as .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .rm and .mp4.
10. The e-mail address you put in the submission form must be valid and must be open to recieve e-mails. Please make sure it's one you check often and use a lot so the judges can e-mail you there without any problems.
11. One spots can be saved per vidder, per round for an entry and 10 ten saved spots will be accepted per round.
12. You can re-submitted a video if the only award it wins is honorary mention. If it wins any other awards, it can not be re-submitted.
TV Show Rules
1. All TV shows are accepted.
2. Do not steal clips from other people's videos!
3. Your video can't be larger than 25 MB. My windows media player chokes if it's larger then that.
4. You may use any uploading site you choose including your own website, except for any site that only hosts for a week (yousendit and etc). Normally, I can't download those links in time. (YouTube and other viewing sites are ok). Zipped files are ok. If we have a problem downloading or viewing your video, we will email you.
5. You can nominate yourself in up to five categories only (6 if Best Challenge is included). Your video will automatically be put into the following categories: Honorable Mention, Best TV Show, Best Overall Video, Judges Choices, and any other special awards we may give out.
7. If your video wins an award, you may NOT enter it in future rounds. However, if it does not, you may enter it in another round, but please wait three rounds.
8. No PORN!!!!
9. Where it says "22.8 miles" in the form, put "You looked it up?" This will show us that you read and understand the rules. This word for the rules slot in the form will change every round.
10. If there are less than 3 entries for one or more categories, we will not judge for that category (or categories), unless it's a very special circumstance then it will be judged.
Movie Rules
1. We accept any Movie videos (Comedy, Horror, Action, Romance, etc) No anime though. Because I (Kimberly) don't watch anime, I'd rather not judge it. Sorry if this inconviences anyone.
2. Do not steal clips from other people's videos! This is a BIG NO. Also, do not steal clips from websites without giving them credit such as lucasandpeyton.com or gilmorefan.com. If we find that you have done this, we will delete your video from that round. If you forgot to credit the website or person you took clips from, please credit them when typing the description of your video or in an email to us so we are aware of it. If clip theft happens more than once or twice, we may ban you from submitting from the site.

8. NO Porn!! Profanity in the lyrics or voice overs is allowed! R rated (as well as lesser rated) sex scenes are allowed, but please no NC-17 stuff.

Video Categories
Best Romance-A video that is full of romantic elements such as kissing, hand holding, love making, etc.
Best Tearjerker-A video that is so sad it makes you want to cry.
Best Couple-A video that shows the good and bad times a couple has been through.
Best Unlikely Couple-A couple that was never together on the show and/or probably never will be.
Best Comedy-A video that makes you laugh or is just plain funny.
Best Anti-Couple-A video that shows a couple apart or struggling to stay together.
Best Friendship-A video that shows two people being friends, showing their platonic bond or connection.
Best Character-A video that shows one person and everything he or she is about.
Best Cast-A video showing every character on a tv show or movie.
Best Angst-A video with a lot of sad emotion and internal struggle such as a person trying to get over a breakup.
Best Alternate Reality-A video that shows a different world or scenario that has not happened on a tv show or movie.
Best Point of View-A video that is told from one or more points of view from a certain character.
Best Editing-A video that is put together well and flows smoothly without any glitches.
Best Song Use-A video that shows or follows what the lyrics of a song means consistently throughout the video.
Best Music-A video that has the best music for the situation in that video.
Best Action-A video that is full of things like blowing stuff up, fighting, death, etc.
Best Drama-A video that shows a world full of pain or arguements or fighting or whatever else you think qualifies as drama.
Best Crossover-A video that includes two or more tv shows or movies. For example, a One Tree Hill and Veronica Mars crossover video.
Best Special Effects-A video that has amazing effects such as black/white, split-screen, flashes, fading, etc.
Cutest Video-A video that just makes you go "Aww!" or "That is so cute!" and shows tender or touching moments.
Most Unique-A video that shows something totally different than from what happened in a tv show or movie or anything else that may qualify as unique.
Best Challenge-A video that qualifies for the challenge listed on this website (such as a Gilmore Girls/One Tree Hill crossover, a Brooke/Haley video, etc.)
I will automatically put your videos into these categories if they apply:
Honorable Mention-A video that does not win, but is worth mentioning.
Best TV Show video-A video that showed the best elements in a TV show.
-Awards such as Best One Tree Hill, Best O.C., Best Gilmore Girls, and so forth will be given out if there are enough entries.
Best Overall Video-A video that was outstanding and very impressive.
Judges Choices (Kimberly's Choice, Joa's Choice)-A video that is personally chosen by the judges that they really enjoyed.
